They aren’t pouring concrete yet, so we keep moving dirt.  The driveway looks good now.

Burkey was not able to be here when we needed them, so we got our own laser, and did the final grade ourselves using Louie Rehm’s dozer.  Burkey is supposed to come today and roll it before the big rains.  If the weather clears like it is supposed to, we may be able to pour footers next week.

Today we got a downpour while we were working on site prep.  The barn site had been rolled, and was drying quite well.  However, when we decided to lengthen the barn, we didn’t have enough drop from the South end of the barn to the manure pit.  So we were in the process of pushing dirt up onto the pad to change the slope.  That dirt is not rolled, and just got rained on.

The activity monitoring system and the computer system for the robot millers arrived today.  Now we get to assemble 150 collars.  Good thing I have 5 kids.
